M.I.T e-Solutions creates eTraining for METRO Cash & Carry for local media relations
Friedrichsdorf, February 1, 2016 - M.I.T has developed eTraining for local media relations for METRO Cash & Carry Germany GmbH. The e-Learning specialist was contracted for the conception and technical implementation and production was carried out using an authoring tool provided to METRO. The multimedia learning program will be employed as one of the components of a more comprehensive training measure, but it can also be used independently.
The eTraining is divided into two modules with short chapters so that it can be used flexibly and also serve as a reference work. Interactive questionnaires and tasks thoroughly involve the users in the learning process. They can call on previously acquired knowledge or repeat what they have recently learned, for example with regard to possible media relations events or work on the differences between press and PR work. Hotspots provide more in-depth information while videos and audio examples on media relations complement the training.
Florian Schröder, who is responsible for eLearning at METRO Cash & Carry Germany explains his plan and choice of partner: “The goal of this project was to present a complex topic in a 30 minute eTraining in both an engaging and appealing fashion. It was therefore important to us to have an experience partner such M.I.T who could realize the contents in a serious and informative manner.”
